Members have helped with various kid’s fishing events, including weekly Urban Fishing programs, Free Fishing Derbys, Earth Day events, and more. Prawn Harvest Fundraiser

Last summer, members grew prawn in ponds  provided by the Center for Fisheries, Aquaculture, and Aquatic Sciences for a subunit fundraiser. In September, members harvested prawn to sell to the greater community as well as gathered research on the prawn for a bioenergetics project. We sincerely thank Bonnie Mulligan (photo right) for her hard work and dedication to the prawn sale fundraiser.
